The Ethos Washington
features the standard Ethos neck-through-body construction. In this case the
neck
is a Maple/Walnut/Maple laminate, with the standard U-channel truss rod and carbon
fibre reinforcment.
The 12" radius fingerboard is Rosewood with 24 frets and Abalone position
markers. The body wings are Ash
finished in a translucent lacquer. The machine heads are by Mighty Mite and incorporate
a clever fold-away
winding handle for quick string changes.
The pick-ups are also by Mighty Mite
and are mounted in flat chrome
plated brass rings.The controls are all recessed into the body, and both the
Volume and Tone pots feature
push-pull switches, one for coil taps and the other is a phase switch.
Exotic woods are always
available for all builds such as this zebrano bookmatched top.
Note all materials
and components can be tailored to individual requirements, this style of
guitar could be
built with a flamed maple top or painted in a solid colour, with single coil
pickups and gold or black
hardware for example.
