For Sale
This guitar was a prototype used to try out different ideas over the years. It started out life as the Blue Washington that was
originally featured in Guitarist magazine, and was the first solid bodied guitar built by Ethos Guitars. Now sadly it has to
make way for the next project.
The through neck is laminated from Maple and Walnut, and although it features the usual Carbon rods, it has an Aluminium
U channel truss rod instead of the double acting type in use on later models. The scale length is 25”, and the guitar has 24
frets. The fingerboard is Rosewood with a 12” radius and abalone position markers. The neck profile was slimmed down
from the original
shape when the upgrade was performed.

The original ash body wings were removed, and the new wings are made from Alder with a book matched Walnut facing,
and Mahogany strips where the wings join the neck. The finish on this guitar is French polish which gives a pleasing
semi-gloss sheen.

The pick-ups on the guitar are from a Gibson Les Paul, but you could upgrade to a pair of Bare Knuckle pick-ups of your
choice for only £100 more.
The guitar comes with a hard case and is for sale at only £575.00 a very small price to pay for a piece of Ethos history.
